Ni Main Sass Kutni Movie

When we hear the title of a Punjabi film Ni Main Sass Kutni then this movie is sure to be a comedy. Ni Main Sass Kutni means that a married woman is saying that she wants to beat up her mother-in-law. It is true that every other house has sass (mother-in-law)-bahu (daughter-in-law) tussles in them and especially in Punjab.

How will both of them survive under 1 roof is basically the story of the movie. There have been many dialogues & jokes made about sass-bahu. The movie being directed by Parveen Kumar who was the associate director for ‘Singh v Kaur’. He had also given dialogues for the movie ‘Shareek’. He also directed the 2007 & 2009 season of Chhankata. Ni Main Sass Kutni movie is being made under Banwait films & this movie will be produced by Mohit Banwait. The project designer of the movie will be Manraj Rai.

The star cast of the movie will see Mehtab Virk, Zareen Khan, Jatinder Kaur, Nirmal Rishi, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Malkeet Rauni, Japji Khaira, Anita Devgan, Karmjit Anmol & Nisha Bano etc. Malkeet will play a pivotal part in the movie. When we have comedian stalwarts like Gurpreet Ghuggi & Karamjit Anmol then generally we are in for a laughter ride. Characters like Nirmal Rishi & Anita Devgan will make this movie a family drama. Taking Mehtab as a lead role hero would have been tough after his average performance in ‘Parahuna’. But these types of tough or risky decisions, Punjabi film makers are ready to take.

The shooting will commence on 29th September 2019 & the movie releases in the summer of 2020.
